Prior to seeking a work study position, you will need to have been awarded Federal Work Study through the Financial Aid Department.
part-time employment while you're enrolled in school (hours are based on
available to students enrolled in an aid eligible program who exhibit financial

Step 1: Log into your MyFVTC to accept/decline your Work Study award.
Step 2: Review the available job postings below (these will be updated the beginning of August for fall). The first week of August you may begin to contact supervisors for the 2013-2014 aid year to set up an interview. Step 3:
August 8th, 2013-2014 contact sheets (contracts) are able to
be picked up in Student Financial Services (E118).
- You will need to take the contact sheet with you to the interview, where it will be filled out by the supervisor if hired (Contact sheets will have an expiration date- if not hired by this date your work-study award will be canceled.)
- You will also need driver's license and social security card back to
fill out payroll paperwork with your supervisor. Your supervisor will then make a copy of your contract and send the copy along with your paperwork to HR.
You will not be able to begin working until HR has your employee account created.Step 4:
The original completed contact sheet (contract) will need to be brought or sent via interoffice to Student Financial Services in E118.

If not awarded work study but wish to participate in the program:
If you have already been awarded, but were not offered work study
funding, please email email@example.com to be added to
the Wait list. If you are eligible and funding becomes available you
will be contacted via your student email.

*Please note: Tutoring positions found under "Child Care", "Miscellaneous/Tutor", and "Off Campus" are paid at a higher wage ($10.25 per hour). All positions other than tutor are paid at $9.00 per hour.
