Many of FVTC's career programs offer internships to help apply the knowledge and skills learned to real work situations.
Interns are often hired as part-time employees of companies needing some special skills the intern can offer. In addition to earning a paycheck, interns receive college credit for the work they do.
In some programs, internships are mandatory. FVTC internships are directly coordinated through the appropriate academic department.
